Argentina Duck Hunting

Morning Duck Shoot

Beautiful Argentina Widgeon Drakes

Duck Shooting Estancia
Argentina duck shooting is a very specialized hunting trip. Argentina is the last place in the world for true high volume duck shooting. We offer a very unique duck hunt in the providence of Buenos Aires , approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes from the international airport in Buenos Aires (or a 45 minute charter flight to within 20 minutes of the Estancia). Our mornings are high volume duck shoots for over 12 different species of ducks (2 different Pintails, Widgeon, 3 different Teal, Rosy Bill, 2 different Tree ducks, and Shovelers make up the majority of the species). Our morning hunts are from day light until about 10:30 to 11:00AM. We hunt out of well-placed well-built blinds with decoys (no muddy, soft bottom marsh flats to stand in all morning). You do not need waders for this hunt... only hip boots or knee boots. Our blinds are moved weekly so you always have new set-ups to hunt. All of our shooting is at decoying ducks. We have electronic callers and nice size spreads of decoys that are put out the morning you shoot. They are not left out year round; we always have a fresh set up for each blind. We do not shoot our roost in the afternoons; we let our ducks rest in the afternoons. This is one of the reasons we have such high numbers of ducks. During the afternoons you have the option of shooting pigeon, perdiz or pheasant (over very good sporting dogs), or big game hunting. Our ranch is 25,000 acres and has a very good pigeon roost and crop fields for the upland birds. It is also plentiful in red stag, fallow deer, puma, wild boar, black buck, and several other species (see our big game hunting page for more details on our big game hunting).
The cost for our duck shooting is $750 per day, which includes everything except: airfare, transfer from Buenos Aires to Estancia ($650 round trip per group or charter flight, quotes are available), shells ($10 per box), licenses ($100 per person), tips ($250 per person approximately), gun permits ($75 per gun. Gun rental is available). Big game hunting in the afternoons would be an additional cost of only the trophy fee of the animal you shot. Please see our big game section for trophy fees. If you do not shoot an animal you would not pay any additional for big game hunting in the afternoons.
We like to keep our groups small, to a maximum of six duck hunters at a time and we recommend at least a four day hunt. We limit our number of hunters to 40-50 per year as we have found this is the best way to keep a quality high volume duck shoot year after year. The Estancia is first class and a real treat in itself to visit. This is one of the oldest Estancias in Argentina and is owned by one of the most prominent families in Buenos Aires. We are fortunate to have exclusive booking rights for this duck shooting program. The service and food are the best we have seen in any of the Argentina duck hunting operations. Please feel free to give us a call for more information about our duck shooting program.
