Joe Miles

Joe-lgSporting Adventures International, LLC was formed in 2000 by Joe Miles after he graduated from Wofford College in South Carolina.  The company currently offers sportsmen the very best wing shooting and big game hunting in the world and just recently added a wonderful Luxury Villa line in the Caribbean and Central America.

The only US Citizen to be accepted to the very prestigious 2001 Gerhard Steenkamp’s Professional Hunter’s School in South Africa, Joe  graduated 6th in his class. He is now one of only a small handful of US Citizens to hold a Professional Hunter’s License. Joe also owns a hunting products company called “The Moon Guide” www.moonguide.com – to help whitetail hunters in their quest for their next trophy.  He also is partners in a hunting TV show on the Sportsman Channel Team 200 TV www.200inch.com.  Joe has taken numerous record book animals with his bow including two world records (Free Range Red Stag and Free Range Pere David’s Deer).

Joe has hunted, guided, and organized trips in over 16 countries around the world. More importantly, he has experienced and offers exactly what high-end, discerning travelers expect and demand for top level travel. His personal experiences of being the client, the guide, and the outfitter, along with the solid international relationships he has developed over the years, are what make Sporting Adventures International so successful.   In developing the Luxury Villa programs in Costa Rica, Belize, and St Thomas, Joe has expanded his business into non-hunting destinations while maintaining the utmost quality in both the accommodations and the experiences that his customers have grown to expect from a Sporting Adventures trip.

Joe and his wife Natalie Miles have an 11 year old son and live in Columbia South Carolina.  His passions are archery, hunting, traveling the world, and exploring new and exotic locations.  In the future Joe is looking forward to continuing offering custom-designed hunts as well as developing small boutique resorts for his clients’ tastes.
